The Outfit Oracle is a personal styling app that spins outfit ideas, lets you save looks, and helps you shop pieces you like. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. In plain terms: your style data is private to your account, we don't run ad or analytics trackers, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account details — the email address you register with and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Your style data — the outfits you save to your closet, clothes you add to your wardrobe, your preferences (aesthetic, sizes, filters), and any garment or outfit photos you choose to upload. This is stored to provide the service to you and is private to your account.
• Device storage — we keep small values in your browser's local storage for convenience (for example, whether the machine sound is muted, whether you've seen onboarding, and which day we last showed your daily look). This never leaves your device.
• Notifications — if you turn on outfit notifications, your browser's push subscription is stored so we can send them. You can turn this off at any time.

How we use it

We use your data only to run the app: generate and save outfits, sync your closet across your devices, tailor spins to your preferences, and send notifications you've asked for. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use your style data for anything other than providing the service to you.

Tracking and analytics

Weather

If you tap the location button to match your season to local weather, your device shares your approximate coordinates with the open-meteo weather service to look up the current conditions. We use the result only to pre-select a season for your spin; we don't store your location.

Amazon affiliate links

The Outfit Oracle participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you tap "Shop →" or an inspiration photo, you may be directed to Amazon.com through an affiliate link. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, at no additional cost to you. Amazon's own privacy policy governs anything you do on Amazon.

Other services we rely on

• Payments — Pro subscriptions are processed by Square. Square handles your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
• Inspiration photos — example imagery is sourced from Unsplash to illustrate pieces.
• Hosting — the app runs on our own server infrastructure in the EU; your data is not shared with the hosting provider beyond storing it for us.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your closet, wardrobe, or personal style data with other users or advertisers. If you use a share or invite feature, only the specific look you choose to share is made available through that link.

Your choices

• Turn notifications on or off from the account menu.
• Delete individual saved outfits, wardrobe items, or photos at any time.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Children

The Outfit Oracle is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
